Our On-Time Delivery Promise
If your meal is not delivered by 6pm, you will be contacted of the adjusted time and receive a two-piece Shortbread on your next order.
Our food is prepared every day with love, integrity, and ingenuity. We use are local and seasonal ingredients whenever possible. Wholesome, fresh, and simple best describe LGV’s meals and recipes.
Growing up with "foodie" grandparents and a scratch cook Mom, celebrating food is central to my core. My maternal grandfather's family business, the Star Fish and Oyster Company, Mobile, Alabama, was an industry leader for 8 decades while my paternal grandparents planted bountiful vegetable gardens with butterbeans and okra as seasonal staples. Mix in my lifelong love for creative presentation, experience in the field since 2003 and you get Le Gourmet Valet!
I graduated from SMU in the late '70s and worked with an assortment of entrepreneurs until starting a family in the mid '80s. My time then became devoted to volunteering, raising three children, while teaching part time and baking for others.
In 2003, I heard Ina Garten speak at a luncheon at the Dallas Country Club, inspiring me to take the next steps to launching a food service business. Read Ina's email to me Read the letter.
